Chicken Soup

Chicken Soup

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-size pieces
1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
2 celery ribs, finely chopped
2 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
2 carrots, shredded or finely diced
1 tbsp ketchup
2 cups chicken broth
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/4 tsp black pepper

Place chicken, onion, celery, potatoes, carrots, ketchup, and broth in slow cooker.  Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.  Stir in thyme and pepper; cook on high one additional hour.
